We find ourselves back in Glenlaig with a host of familiar characters for any who have read the Kilted Hearts Series. But we also get a whole host of new characters to fall in love with. What better to draw you in than a bunch of alpha ex-military fellows who might just needs some loving. I love that the author makes me feel like I have taken a trip to the Highlands as I read.
Alex is about to start the after miliary phase of his life with his mates who he trust with everything incuding his life. In a new town, with a new business but he also knows that "the one that got away" is also there. Will he get a chance to apologize and make things right. Or will he have to just watch her from the sidelines?
Ciara has tried to move on and forget her one night of passion and more from three years ago. She has tried to forget how he made her feel and look for a life with someone new. But in a small town where you know everyone, that gets to be a little bit of a task. When she realizes that her one night stand is moving to town, she is not ready to let go of her anger.
