This is the 5th book in the Romance in the Building Series and could be read as a standalone but I think it is best read in order. This is Carly and Brayden's story, which series readers knew was coming at some point. An emotional one, getting over fears of loss, but finding a special love, with a side of sweet little girl antics.
Carly is working so hard to provide the best life she can for little Ava. No mom expects to end up a single parent, but Carly is rocking it the best she can. Many thanks to the wonderful friends she has found at Hearts Lane, stepping in when she needs a hand.
Brayden has the career he loves, fantastic friends and life is good. But watching all his friends find their partners and move to the next part of life is causing him to question some of his choices. After his childhood, he has kept relationships at arms length, worried of loosing people close to him. But over the year since Carly and Ava have moved in, he just might want what he always swore he would.
Cuddle up in your cozy spot and see if Carly and Bray are willing to cross that friend zone line they both thought was clearly in place. Will this be the best thing or will it break them?
I am sad to see the end of the series. I have loved all the characters, the found family they have made.
