This was a fun addition to The Dugout Series. We got to know both Callie and Foster in the first book and to find out they have been keeping secrets from us all.....
This book is full of emotions, the fear of letting someone down, the fear of loving someone so they can leave you, the joy of finding your person that you can be your true self with, and the love of found family just as much as blood family.
The chemistry between these characters practically jumps off the pages, especially when they are trying to hid it. The witty banter and the fun atmosphere when they are behind closed doors had me flipping pages.
And when their secret comes out, the people they were most concerned about being upset were actually their biggest supporters.
