A new start to a new series and we have some great world building while we watch Grant the ever serious CEO fall fast & hard. Chemistry sizzles off the pages, but will this closed off guy finally let someone in?

Grant has come a long way from the teen fighting for his life in the system and doing everything he can to keep him and his brothers together. Now a successful CEO of a security company, he is known for being too serious and always following the rules.

Ruby is a ray of sunshine, all bubbles and relaxed chaos. She loves her restaurant and the life she is building. Sure it's lonely sometimes but most men don't love her independence and drive.

When Grant and Ruby find themselves working together for a their best friends engagement party there is a clash of rules & go with the flow, sassy sunshine & seriousness. Will they be able to work out a happy medium. Neither are looking for the desire and feelings that come to the surface.
