CRAVING RESURRECTION (Aces #4)
By Nicole Jacquelyn
Release Date: January 26, 2015
Poet and Amy's story...
Patrick Gallagher’s future was mapped out—and it didn’t include Amy Henderson or the IRA.
She was everything he’d never wanted. Too young. Too naïve.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t help but be fascinated by the girl who took refuge in his old bedroom, staying with his mum more often than not.
She looked like a Renaissance painting and argued like a solicitor. He couldn’t resist her, and before long, he didn’t even want to.
Instead, he loved her unreservedly… then he married her.
But he couldn’t have prepared for what happened after.
Actions, no matter how large or how small, have consequences—and when the IRA comes knocking, he’s sucked into a life that he’d never anticipated.
Choices were made.
Hearts were broken.
Trust was shattered.
Lives were lost.
Through it all, he loved her.
It was a love that spanned decades.
Epic.
Intense.
Unquestionable.
Unbreakable.
5 out of 5 ⭐️!!
I had planned to take my time reading this… It is now 8 am in the morning, and I started reading last night. I couldn’t stop, even the clock moved past midnight and I finally dragged myself up to bed where I figured I’d read a few more pages. It turned into a lot more than that, until I finally must’ve fallen asleep, Kindle still clutched in my hands. This morning with cup of coffee in hand and a blatant disregard for the piles of work already waiting for me, I finished it.
CRAVING RESURRECTION sucked me in so deep - I became oblivious to most everything else.
You want to “feel” a book?? I guarantee you will feel this one….. in your bones and as deep as your soul. And it will leave you beaten and bruised, gutted at times, but hopeful too. Hopeful that in a life where circumstances, choices and decisions have a way of distorting the path you were aiming for, you will still one day end up in your intended place.
The book is unlike any other MC book, in fact that knowledge barely registered with me when I started reading. So if you go in with the same expectation, you won’t find it in CRAVING RESURRECTION. You will find a shitload more!
The story spans about thirty years and covers half the globe. It deals with sweet innocence, political conflict, the darkest kinds of brutality and the protection of family. You will run the gamut of emotions and they will feel heavy, but there is nothing about this story that doesn’t feel REAL.
Life is one set of circumstances after another and all we can do is weather them one by one. Patrick (‘Poet’) and Amy find that out early on and it takes them almost a lifetime of struggling to stay standing before they can finally find their solace in each other.
This is a beautiful book… the language, the brogue that falls from Patrick’s lips is tempting all by itself. It isn’t particularly visually descriptive, yet I could see every room, every location, every scene laid out.

Nicole Jacquelyn is the mom of two little girls and a full time college student. She hasn’t watched television in well over a year, she still does things that drive her mother crazy, and she loves to read. At eight years old, when asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she told people she wanted to be a mom. When she was twelve her answer changed- to author. By the time she was eighteen, when people asked her what she wanted to do with her life, she told them she really wanted to be a writer- but the odds of that happening were so slim that she’d get her business degree “just to be safe”. Her dreams stayed constant. First she became a mom, then she went to college, and during her senior year- with one daughter in first grade and the other in preschool, she sat down and wrote a story.
