Most people would probably be embarrassed to land themselves back in their hometown and working at a pizzeria after an ugly divorce.
Not me.
It’s home, and I have one last shot to make Wren Daniels see me as more than just her brother’s best friend.
When the opportunity to show her what’s been right in front of her this whole time presents itself, I take it, holding nothing back this time.
Wren thinks we’re pretending, but there’s nothing fake about the way I feel.
After all, she’s always had…a pizza my heart.
Standalone Brother's Best Friend Romcom!
4 Stars
What a super fun to read Best Friends to Lovers RomCom. This is my first Teagan Hunter read and I can guarantee you there will be more books in my future by this author. The witty combination of angst, need, want and fear has you flipping pages while giggling at the jokes between friend. A great group of characters that will draw you in chapter by chapter.
Foster has just moved home after being away for four years, a horrible divorce under his belt and a new found drive to open up to Wren. Tell her the truth and get his life back. Is it possible to start over again in your home town with your old friends? Abso-freaken-lutely!
Wren is trying so hard to get her business off its feet, but working there and at Slice to help her dad with the family business is wearing her out. She loves her family & Slice with all her heart and can't let anything happen to it. Surprised when she sees her old best friend back in town. An array of feelings come flooding back to her and she can't decide what feelings to focus on.
Will there be an HEA found in this perfect pizzeria they call home?
Excited to see where the series goes from here.

I'm a Missouri-raised gal, but currently live in North Carolina with my US Marine husband and 9-year-old dog. I spend my days begging him for a cat, and I survive off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When I'm not writing, you can find me binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. I like cold weather, buy more paperbacks than I'll ever read, and I never say no to brownies.
Writing is my passion, and this is just the beginning of my journey.
