With Lily King missing the Storm are all hands on deck, Colt is working with Stone Security to do intel. With Echo's return, they might as well use her mad computer stills to their advantage.

Echo has just returned from six months away after her marriage has dissolved. Determined to leave men on the back burner while rebuilding her life. Men aren't worth it anyway. But she finds herself stuck with Mr 5, aka Colt as there is a concern for safety. He is quickly ticking off many of her wants in a man, if only she was wanting a man.

Colt has seen his share of loss and knows the importance of family. But relationships are not really his thing, people you get to close to leave. Sure he likes a good time and he is all about repeats but just not long term. He gets more than he bargained for when put on security duty of Echo while they work to find Lily and diminish any threats.

The instant chemistry between Colt and Echo is sizzling from the first interaction. Knowing neither are in search of a long time relationship they opt for a little fun to charge the batteries. Slowly they begin to slip under each others skin, but is that enough to keep a wandering soul? Colt handles the whirl wind of Echo's life, like her tornado bestie, her very open mother and her overprotect brother.

This was a entertaining story that kept me engaged from the very beginning with the suspense of finding Lily and the smoking hot start to a possible relationship. A strong series closure but the sights so something new that might bring us back a few favorites every once an a while.
