Headhunter: A With Me in Seattle Mafia Novel by Kristen Proby is now live!
Things have never been more intense in New York Times Bestselling Author Kristen Proby's With Me in Seattle Mafia series...
As the son of one of the States' most prominent mob bosses, Shane Martinelli's always been immersed in society's shady underbelly. Learning to navigate it and keep to the edges was working just fine until an acquaintance turns up missing, and he fears the worst. From the moment he laid eyes on her, he hasn't stopped thinking about her. Luckily, as an ex-special operative, he's uniquely qualified to track her down and keep her safe. Unfortunately, nobody's making that easy--not the people who took her nor the woman herself.
Ivie Jordan has led a pretty uneventful life, and that's just how she likes it. Especially since she'll be the first to admit that she doesn't do so well in social situations. She's a proud business owner, and while she doesn't have family, she does have a network of people who look out for her. Little did she know that being accepted into that fold came with a laundry list of issues. When the worst happens, and she's forced to rely on the ruggedly handsome alpha hero who comes to her rescue, she discovers her inner badass--and the sultry vixen on her other shoulder.
Too bad the two of them are literally running for their lives and trying to ensure the safety of those they love. There is way more at stake than meets the eye.

4.5 Stars
Ivie has worked so hard at rebuilding her life, leaving the past hidden where it belongs. She has all she needs with her two best friends and their family. Her confidence is still a little low as she can be a little clumsy from time to time. Not seeing her girl next door beauty for what it really is. She is sideswiped when her past quickly comes crashing into her future and she finds herself fighting for her safety.
Shane is damn good at what he does, not that his family truly has any idea the depth of his work outside the family obligations. They just know he works for the government and comes with high demand that keeps him away for a bit from time to time. Shane is most happy when at his fortress in the mountains where he keeps his craft sharp and people at a distance. Since meeting Ivie, he can't seem to shake his want for her but continues to fight the attraction, worried because of his career.
When Ivie is kidnapped, Shane jumps into full protector mode. No longer able to fight his feelings for the silent beauty. He pushes her to see her full potential from his view. Preparing her to fight back while they try to understand the full threat to her. Will their time together become more? Is Ivie enough to make this marksman change his ways?
I am loving this series and the added mystery and suspense that comes alongside Ms Proby's signature romance. Giving the book a whole new depth. Wonderful characters that are easy to connect with. Can't wait for the next installment.
