Kelly Elliott give us her wonderful, swoon worthy, fall in love with characters in this book. Friends to lovers, fake engagement is just the push these two needed to step over the line and let their true feeling shine. Many emotions, ups and downs but true love wins the race.

Landon and Emmerson has been best friends since they were kids. With their parents working together and being best of friends, they were always around each other. But at some point their time together became more special than even they realized. It's the little things that nobody else knows, or the secret things that you hold close to  your heart.

Sure they have both dated in the past but unsuccessfully. Funny that all those others just didn't add up to the one person you aren't supposed to love. Landon knowing he has loved Emmerson for a long time. So when circumstances find them in a fake engagement, this gives him the chance to show her just how he would treat her if given the chance.

When true feelings are shared and they both realized with everyone else already knew, it was only a matter of time. Who need to take time and do things traditionally when you have already spent your life with the person?
