This was such a fun, sexy grumpy/sunshine, workplace romance full of banter and some pretty serious subjects mixed in there as Bane & Myers deal with their families.

Bane is a workaholic who can't keep an assistant to save his life. It my have something to do with his barky, over focused attitude. But when Myers comes crashing into his office, late in a mess she somehow convinces him to give her a change. She rocks it, putting his job and life back to gether piece by piece without taking his snark. Oh hell no, she gives it back in different little ways.

Watching this pair grow into a friendship that somehow surprise them as they slowly find their way to more. It's the more and the way they navigate it. Alex never having someone in his corner to stand up for him against his cold hearted greedy mother, Maggie having someone to share her worries about her father and loosing the last connections to her grandmother.
