I have come to love Meghan's writing style and characters over the years of reading. I love how she draws me in from the very beginning and has my full attention until I have finished the book. Even knowing that with these trilogy's she is going to leave me hanging, begging for more now instead of later. Once again that was the case with Gabriel and Scarlett.

Gabriel has worked his way from nothing in Biloxi to fighting his way through the underground in New York. In an push to finally be on the legal side of things opening the dream club. Only thing is that isn't working out quite like it was planned and he needs something to draw in the crowd again. The disaster of a grand opening has him sinking fast.

Scarlett has had life given to her on a silver platter, if you ignore the father who really wanted a son to take over his empire. With the fame of her high fashioned mother, she has created her dream job and doing pretty damn good at it. Finding gems that others are missing out on and showing them how to make them work in their space. She also uses her socialite status to help draw attention from time to time.

Gabriel and Scarlett's meeting was anything but conventional. There is instant intrigue and curiosity between these two from opposite ends of the spectrum. Scared but also a little wiling to see if she can do as asked, she is going to try and bring life back to the Legend. Gabe or Scar never dreamed that the chemistry between them would have such a pull. Pushing them both way beyond the comfort zone.
