We continue with the Wynn family drama in this book and I could see that it might be hard for someone who hasn't read the first two books in the series to easily follow along. For those that have read the series you will easily jump right back in. The quilts of the past can affect the way we live our lives, finding enough peace to open up your heart and mind can give you the world.
Everly is Aunt to Theo and JP who were the hero's in the previous books. She is from her father's second marriage. It was hard being the only daughter and not one of the three hockey playing boys to the hockey god himself. Always feeling like she had to fight for her father's attention. Soon that need to for attention turned to a need to be the perfect child. This putting Everly in a square box, not enjoying life to the fullest and giving herself many rules to follow. She does find herself drawn to one of her father's teams hockey players who easily gets under her skin.
Wyatt loves playing hockey, it is all he has ever dreamed of. When he looses his best friend, he changes his path by asking for a trade. Needing to be there for his family. He has found his way with his new teammates but keeps everyone else at arm's length. On the outside he seem like a happy go lucky guy but he can't seem to shut of the guilt of his loss. He finds pleasure in riling up the princess Wynn when he get a chance, but the more he gets to know her the more he wants to know.
Can they fool the media with their plan? Will they be able to keep each other at arms length? Or will all their time spent together cross that line?
Looking forward to more Wynn madness.
