Then she sold the house. Now the devil himself is my landlord and neighbor since I live in the guesthouse on his property. Declan Maxwell is moody, unreasonable, and takes himself far too seriously. Unfortunately for me, he’s also damn sexy.
When he shows up on my doorstep in the middle of the night ordering me to turn down the music, I give him hell. Secretly, I’m also checking him out. We go toe to toe like this almost every night.
The man is impossible. But here’s the thing. I need a place to stay while I save for my business and this place is a steal. So, I need to put up with this handsome devil, though from a distance—because he’s far too gorgeous.
Then one day I come home injured from work and he surprises me by taking care of me.
And kissing me.
And just like that, all my best intentions go up in smoke.

This was a fun story to read. Mr Stuffy Divorce Lawyer meets free dance to her own music, follow my dreams beauty. Will Liz and her sweet treats bring some life back into his blocked heart?
The scare of one event has pushed Liz into action, moving away from her family and giving herself a deadline to open her new bakery. She is a heart worker fill of drive for success. But burning the candle at both ends to meet her goals is hard on the body. Will she be able to pull this off? Depends if she can survive the new grumpy landlord.
Declan is a Maxwell deep to his bones. He has worked his way to the top as a successful lawyer aside from the family money that he was born to. But being a divorce lawyer had it's disadvantages. You can become a little jaded on the topic of love. But when the old lady left his a wonderful surprise distraction in the guest house he wasn't prepared.
This was a fun read, watching Liz slowly pull Declan from his busy working, stuffy suits to a likable business man with more to look forward to. The author did a good job of bringing out the best of Declan for us all to love.
Another great addition to the series.

I fell in love with books when I was nine years old, and my love affair with stories continues even now, many years later. I write romantic stories and can't wait to share them with the world. And I drink coffee. Lots of it :-D
