A wonderful emotional adventure as healing and finding a new normal is the forefront in Ollie's story. Emotions are high and feels are bone deep.

This Navy Seal lifer never saw himself doing anything else. Sure he loved his family ranch back in Montana but couldn't imagine living there. When he finds himself states side and healing both physically and mentally after the last mission, lost is the best way to explain it. Struggling with the visions of all the bad and his current physical limitations making him feel like less of a man. Thanks to his little sis Onyx for standing by his side and pushing him to dig himself out of the dark. Cole Security might just be the thing that brought him back to life. Well that and a certain Pixie who drew him to the light.

Paisley has successfully done the dig out of the dark hole and back to life. Now she keeps her focus on her Veterinary clinic and the small shelter that she runs from her home. No time in her life for bad choices and being hurt once again. Trust is her hardest but after everything she endured it is understandable. When she meets Ollie she is drawn to him in a way she can't explain and that scares her just a little. Will she open herself up to possible hurt again or will she keep her heart guarded?

A strong well paced story line will keep the pages turning. The characters and their layers will draw you in with hopes of happiness for them.
