Release Date: June 27

When a decade-old one-night stand converges with a current high-profile case, can the three of them work through their differences to stop her from being the serial killer’s next victim?

Running from a secret past and now a deranged killer, Remington Dotson and her nine-year-old son need protection to survive. Except the two men who want to keep her safe are the same ones who gave her a single night of pleasure and then disappeared. Heartbroken by them before, can Remington trust Tallon and Jameson with her life while protecting her heart and keeping the biggest secret of all—that Tallon’s the father?

Chasing a killer leads FBI Agent Tallon Harper straight to the woman who, despite all the time that’s passed, he’s never forgotten. Now she needs his protection but fights him at every turn, keeping secrets that he’s determined to uncover. Good thing he remembers exactly how to entice Remington to obey his commands.

After several attempts by the killer to take who he sees as his, Tallon struggles with his growing need for Remington and keeping her safe. Tight quarters, late nights, and smoldering memories of their time together become too much to stop the inevitable. But when secrets are revealed and trust is broken, can Tallon forgive Remington, or will that broken trust make them all susceptible to the serial killer’s lethal plans?

4 Stars

This is book six in the series and could be read as a standalone but I would strongly suggest reading at least book 5 for an enhanced storyline. Be ready for a fast paced suspense story that will have you glued to the pages and on the edge of your seat. Mix in a second chance romance that is smoking hot with sizzling chemistry and a little M/F/M on the side.

Remy is a hard working, strong single mom who has escaped a unhealthy past relationship and still looks over her shoulder regularly. One night of passion with two hunky men has left her wanting more but also a little surprise that is a constant reminder of that night with bright blue eyes. She gives her all to make certain her son has the best of the best but there hasn't been much time for a life besides that in the past 10 years. When she finds herself at the hands of a serial killer, she looks for help and protection. Boy is she surprised by her two protectors.

Tallon has been on a missions for the past 10 years since his sister was abducted all those years ago. Determined to help find this guy and get some closure for his sister. In this dedicated protector roll, it hasn't left much time for relationships and committment. It doesn't  mean he doesn't want it but there is a big part of him that carries the guilt of what happened to his sister but watching her and his best friend start a life together has him thinking it might be time for a change.

When Remy walks in the door and finds her protectors are to be the two men she things of often since that fantastic night. How will she manage to stay and let them help her out? The chemistry from all those years ago is there quick and fast. Wondering if she might get burned when he finds out all her secrets.
