After putting her readers through the torture of part 1 and the horrible captivity that Chains endured. We get to experience the fight for what is deserved, love and happiness with a chosen family. The Grimm Wolves have never made Chains feel like he wasn't part of the brotherhood. Jackson and Winnie have always had his back and stood strong beside him. It's about damn time he realized that these people cared for him as much as he did them and it was time to show it. Fight for more.

Emotions run high in the house of the Wolves with the brothers, Jackson and Winnie as they wait for anything concrete on Nicholas (Chains) as they know he is being taken to medical care and hurt in too many ways to explian. The wait is draining them all and tensions are skyrocketing. They are still searching for the whys and who is responsible, even drawing in some other nearby clubs to help where they can.

The open acceptance of the triad between Nicholas, Jackson and Winnie is something that Chains never dreamt his brothers would give. Now that he knows he has it, his regrets are stronger for the time lost due to his fears. This last fight for his life has pushed him to take what he wants and to hell with everyone else.

Ms Earl touches on some pretty harsh topics with this story and the reality is there are many truths to these topics in the world today. Your heart will hurt as you read, your mind will have trouble understanding the cruelty, but I promise she will give you light and love at the end that will put a smile on your face.
