This is book three in this Whitlock series and it is a delicious enemies to lovers full of heat inducing banter and tension that is bound to snap at some point. The character chemitstry practically rolls off the pages and gets a little steamy when these two focus their boiling energy for something so much more rewarding.
Rowan let himself be put in the bad boy done a girl wrong impressions of the town when it fighting back was futile and everyone beleived her story over his. Especially her sister Charlotte who happens to be his neighbour. Both Rowan and Charlotte are currently running the family farms that butt up again each other.
By now he is used to the barbs and words thrown his way when Charlotte is around but he still can't let things get out of hand when she finds herself in trouble at the local bar. His mother raised him better than that. And when they find themselves in a situation where they need to help each other out to stay alive, well it's time to take off the gloves and open up a bit. Will they be able to hold onto the common ground they find or will thing go back to normal once they return home?
