This is book two of the Heartfire Falls Series but we get so see many others from the other series as well a time or two. Be prepared for an emotional healing story as these wonderful characters move from best friends to more. The wit and family closeness that comes with all that is Silver, a 10 year old who is more wise than most, and lots of animal antics.
Jude and Kendall became friends very quickly when she moved to town. Before they knew it they were best friends and when she wasn't busy getting her older brother out of his messes, she was with Jude and his family. All these years later, standing beside each other, the lines are finally getting blurry. Though they both seem to be fighting it hard in an attempt to not loose what they have.
