"As Reapers Motorcycle Club president, Reese “Picnic” Hayes has given his entire life to the club. After losing his wife, he knew he’d never love another woman. And with two daughters to raise and a club to manage, that was just fine with him. These days, Reese keeps his relationships free and easy—he definitely doesn’t want to waste his time on a glorified cleaning lady like London Armstrong.
Too bad he’s completely obsessed with her.
Besides running her own business, London’s got her junkie cousin’s daughter to look after—a more reckless than average eighteen-year-old. Sure she’s attracted to the Reapers’ president, but she’s not stupid. Reese Hayes is a criminal and a thug. But when her young cousin gets caught up with a ruthless drug cartel, Reese might be the only man who can help her. Now London has to make the hardest decision of her life—how far will she go to save her family?"

I think this is my favorite Reaper book so far!! Although I wanted to smack Picnic upside the head more than once! Men can be such children....I don't care how old they are!
Picnic has been eying London from afar since she started cleaning for the club. Having buried his wife, the love of his life, he passes time with club whores and has no wish to risk his heart again. He knows getting with London would easily become more than just a physical release. Still he can't help himself when an opportunity arises to place her in his home.
London has taken care of her deadbeat sister's daughter for a long time. She is the only parent the girl knows and when she gets involved with the wrong people, London would sell her soul to the devil to get her back. Even if the devil comes in the form of Picnic, a man who has the ability to crush her, in more ways than one.
Picnic has some growing up to do, and in a sense, so does London.... both need to distance themselves from the past and grab on to the opportunity they can offer each other.
This of course, is not just a simple romance..... in fact, you have to be a special person to see the romance. The romance comes biker style, with grunts and barks, bossiness and attitude, but in those rare moments when you can taste a hint of sweetness, there is nothing like it!! SWOON!!
There is a nice balance of drama and action, keeping the reader on his toes. Adore the slightly older protagonists and while reading I was never bored, I devoured this book in one sitting! Well done Joanna Wylde!!
✨A highly charged and steamy mix.✨
