Stars in Their Eyes picks up exactly where A Starstruck Kiss leaves off
Jess is a college student who is trying to put herself through Medical School by selling pictures of Hollywood Stars. She is a take charge because I need to control things kind of gal. She will stop at nothing to get that epic picture from the most talked about wedding in LA. The biggest hurdle is how to get past security.
After spending some time with William she discovers that he is in fact not an enemy trying to take her job, but has a separate job all of his own. He is acting as a PI doing research for a famous client, for insider information on how the paparazzos are able to get these pictures. He also happens to be part of security for that LA wedding. Working any job he can find while looking for a Visa sponsor so he can stay in America once finished school.
Jess and William decide that they should work together and help each other get what they want. They realized quickly that they enjoyed each other’s company. Jess thinks of William as the forbidden fruit. Fighting very hard to keep William at arm’s length but the attraction just might be too strong to resist andsoon the sexual tension takes over. This sends Jess for a bit of a spin but she is still focused on her goal.
Research and stake outs have never been this fun. Being in the right place at the right time is the key. One picture leads to a string of events result in anger, revenge, bribery, lies, co-conspiracy, hurt and misunderstandings. Things are not always as they seem in Hollywood. Can they still come out on top with their goals accomplished? That is the question.
This book was fun, witty and fast paced but doesn’t lack any romance and awe.
