Gabriel has grown up rough and tough and full of anger and hatred. Wanting revenge for his mother, for the life they had or the life they could have had. After finding the key to that revenge in the name of the man… Deciding to take advantage to get the man at his worst he decides to use his best friend’s sister for intel.
Honor is not without her own issues of the past which include a brother who left her, a father how died when she was young, but she did have a step-father who loved her and her mother. When her step-father needs her help she finds herself in need of Mr Woolf and his connections. Mr Woolf has his own set of rules, which Honor reluctantly decided to follow in hopes to close the deal. What she didn’t expect was to start to have feelings for this man.
Slowly Honor starts to see the good inside this scorned man. Can she get him to see things from her perspective? Gabriel reveals secrets that she fights Can she give him the things that he wants at the risk of losing her family as she knows it all over again?
This book is full of dark secrets, money and power, anger and deceit. But as dark as it is there is passion, caring and desire that will draw you in. Can these things bring the light back?
