This is book two in the series and it was a very unique story that pulls at some deep emotions. The characters are both broken in their own way.

Kingston has always been sort of the black sheep of the family. Not being involved in the family business and more interested in art & fashion. He finds himself being pushed into the family business against his wishes. Will he be able to keep his secrets or will they come to surface.

Gabriella has seen death first hand far too many times. But she finds her current choice of work to be the right place for her right now. Her scars are visible and she is always judged by then. Her life has never been the same, she doesn't miss the old life she left behind.

These characters hold so much in and have much to overcome. Their unique meeting and pretend dating gives a fun witty vibe to the book while mixing in some serious baggage. It's too hard to give more details without spoiling the fun of reading it. The author has written a wonderful book and is highly recommended.
