What a wonderful start to a new rom-com hockey series. Lots of chemistry and witty banter is just what the doctor ordered for this quick slow burn fun read. Many secondary characters to entice you into wanting more from the series.

To say Collin is down on his luck is an understatement. Being the reason for loosing the cup last season, is just the first of many. He's determined to make a fresh start with the new season but he is not preforming well. That is until he reconnects with the woman who almost ran him over. His luck seems to changing, could she be his lucky charm?

Harper is pretty much in her own world, working from her home studio crafting her scary décor. Thanks to her one close friend she does manage a small life outside of her work and love of horror movies. After picking up the stranger on the side of the road, to help get him home, she can't seem to stop thinking about him. When she realizes her new dating app guy and hot give a stranger a ride guy are one and the same, she is prepared to run.

Can a chance meeting not once but twice, be enough to bring these two opposites together? Will they find enough common ground to make a go of it?
