This book is a standalone in a series and can easily be read without reading the entire series if you choose. A suspenseful and steam second chance romance the add in brothers best friend and enemies to lovers feel. Hang on to your hat as there isn't a lull in the story. Emotions get a little explosive from time to time but the charge of chemistry is sizzling in the background.
Paige is looking for temporary work while her boss is off on Maternity leave, so when her boss has an offer for her she is excited at the possibilities. That is until the night she meets the temporary boss. He is a page right out of her past and one she doesn't think she can handle again. She lost too much with the heartbreak he caused her. Loosing him and her best friend all in one foul swoop. No thank you.
Adrian has not gone a day without thinking about Paige, so when he is introduced to her as his potential temprorary assistant, he all but looses his mind.
