A wonderful emotional small town second chance story that builds us a new series and a new town.
A lifetime ago Ben and Gillian were the couple everyone thought would stick like glue. Ben leaving town to persue his football career at college while Gillian stayed behind. 14 years and a NFL career later, Ben has returned and everyone is town is excited except the one who he let slip away.
Gillian has struggled some with her choices but being a single mom to Clayton was never a struggle. He is the best thing that has happend to her. Now he is playing football and soon he will be heading off to college. She is just finishing law school and working to write the barr. Life hasn't been to bad for them. She is a little worred with Ben coming back to town as some secrets have yet to be revealed.
As Ben and Gillian work through the his return, they struggle a little with Clayton who is only wanting to protect his mom. Can Ben prove to them that he never really feel out of love with Gillian and is here for the long haul. He is ready to follow her while she lives out her dreams. Can he will the boy over? Is their room for the life they missed out on all those years?
I am excited to read more of the series as the brother get their stories.
