Having been dragged across the state by Ashley, with her dilapidated Aistreamer hitched onto his Cadillac, Roman is none to pleased to finally arrive at their destination, only to be stuck wheel deep in swamp mud. It appears Ashley's 'friend' is living as part of a commune in the middle of a Louisiana swamp. Lovely. Roman has no choice but to hang around for help to arrive.

The delay is very welcome to Ashley. It offers her some extra time to come up with some ammunition to use in her quest to save the Florida Keys' vacation rentals from the wrecking ball. Her friend has graciously offered them lodging and helps Ashley come up with a sure way to delay Roman's resort plans even further.

*****

Slowly but surely, Roman is starting to lose his varnish. Any semblance of control he had at any point in time has all but disappeared and his 'buttoned-up' persona is suffering a few knocks. All because he underestimated the tenacious nature of his pint-sized nemesis.

The more Roman's poise is slipping, the more Ashley feels sympathetic towards him. Part of her feels bad to be manipulating and conspiring to get her way, but she has no other recourse and trying to find out how she ended up in this situation in the first place is a potential can of worms she is not yet ready to open.

We are introduced to some secondary characters that contribute some more to completing the picture needed to place our heroes in the appropriate context. Little by little we are starting to understand the heroes better and the occasional sparks of interest between Roman and Ashley are increasing. Looking forward to the fireworks!

✨A taunting and vivacious episode!✨
